Hwyl Hoodie

You will all be familiar with the Scandanavian word ” Hygge” meaning ” a mood of coziness, comfortable conviviality and contentment” Well, long before that, the Welsh found a word that embodied the overwhelming feeling of joy and stirring sense of emotion and energy that you get when you are in Wales – ” Hwyl” ( pronounced h-oyel)  We felt that this was a very appropriate word for how we feel about Tenby and certainly the feeling we get from visitors who return year after year to relive that feeling – that hwyl – for their favourite seaside town! Our gorgeous earthy red hoodie has the word Hwyl on the front with the meaning on the reverse.
